The USB phone
So two of the three bits of electronics that everyone seems to be carrying around with them seem to be Mobile phones and USB sticks (the other being digital watches). With the problems I’ve been having copying files onto my phone I ask myself why it’s so easy to copy data onto a USB stick.
a) Standard hard drive like interface, which seems to work well on both PC and Apple Macintosh (no idea about Linux).
b) USB has been the big standard for years. Computers now come with USB ports on their backs, fronts, keyboards, hubs, etc.
…Hence the need for a USB phone. Note: I don’t mean by adding a propriety cable to the phone and installing drivers.

The port will need to pull out of the phone far enough to fit into the small spaces where USB ports are often found (I tend to need a USB extender cable on my old laptop anyway). In many cases having a phone this size will completely block out other ports, e.g. mouse cables, however that what ergonomics designers are for
