The wording of your article suggests that ExtUSB is some kind of weird htc-only thing. Fact is that it is nothing more than MINIUSB with a few extra pins that can be safely ignored. ALL pre-existing miniusb cables and chargers are fully compatible with extusb and will even physically fit into the extusb slot. It is simply extusb peripherals that will not fit into a standard miniusb plug.

Oh, and the EU with their microusb can go screw a dead cow. It is simply too delicate for any repeated use and is clearly the product of device manufacturers who want things to break (in order to be able to sell more). It is no more compact than miniusb, so would be best avoided.

Great web site. I've been looking for a resource like this for a while. I am looking for an Android device both as a developer and as a user and sometimes those different perspectives have different needs.

A couple of suggestions:
As the number of devices grows it will be hard to fit the table on the page. Maybe it would be possible to have a link to a spreadsheet that could be downloaded and reviewed separately.

I think it would be helpful to have a glossary of terms, e.g. what is "Sense UI"?

Thanks for the site. Very useful.
